Wrexham will be marking this year’s St David’s Day with a host of activities in the town centre over the weekend of February 28th and March 1st.
On the Saturday a market of over 40+ stalls will be held on Queens Square and will feature a wide choice of products being sold by companies based in Wales. Items on sale will range from cakes to olives to Welsh souvenirs to quality fresh meat. There will also be cheeses, crafts, chocolates, jewellery, fairy doors and clothing from famous Welsh supplier Cowbois.
There will also be face-painting and fairground rides for children and free tasters of Leek soup and bara brith for everyone to try. Anyone turning up in Welsh costume on the day will also be able to claim a free gift. Read more…
