The third episode of ‘Blood On The Tracks’, a new music and comedy radio show is on Calon FM (105FM or www.calonfm.com) for people of Wrexham and the surrounding area. “We are on from 10pm to midnight every Wednesday and it would be great if you could join us and hopefully we can brighten up your Wednesday evening and get you set for turn of the week towards the weekend. Egg-citing start to the Easter holidays at the Discovery Centre!

Which animal lays an egg one fifth of its own body weight? How can you throw an egg without breaking it? Audiences of ‘Amazing Eggsperiments’ can learn the answers to these eggstremely important questions at the egg-citing live show taking place in Techniquest Glyndwr’s science theatre this Easter.
‘Amazing Eggsperiments’ is a fun science show available for visitors with admission to the Science Discovery Centre. Visitors to Techniquest Glyndwr can take a look at the atmosphere as it moves around planet Earth, leave an image of their shadow on a light capturing wall or ‘get lost’ in the mirror-maze! And with over 50 more hands-on interactive exhibits and puzzles, Techniquest Glyndwr is guaranteed to leave visitors amused and enthused by the amazing world of science that surrounds them!
‘Amazing Eggsperiments’ runs from 4 April daily throughout the Easter holidays.

One of the first lectures at this year’s Wrexham Science Festival promises to offer a fascinating insight into how DNA research can help in tracing people’s recent and historic ancestors.
Dr Peter Forster, from the Cambridge Society for the Application of Research, Churchill College Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge, will deliver a lecture on the techniques that have been developed to help researchers resolve issues such as suspected adoption, identification of remains for forensic cases but also on how to trace historical ancestry and even tracing prehistoric lineages to regions and continents across the globe.
